National Press Festival to open on June 19
(VOVWORLD) - More than 80 central and local press agencies with 130 booths will participate in the National Press Festival 2025, according to a press conference in Hanoi on Monday.

The Festival themed "Vietnamese Press - Loyalty, Creativity, Courage, Innovation for the cause of national construction and defense" will run for four days from Thursday until Saturday, June 21, Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
The highlight of the event will be a thematic exhibit featuring 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press with achievements and development trends in the new era.
The 19th National Press Awards Ceremony will take place on June 21, marking the first year the award to be given to multimedia journalism and creative journalism, demonstrating the trend of modernization in journalism in the digital age.
The Ministry of Science and Technology will issue a special stamp set to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Following the success of the first National Press Forum last year, the second edition will be held as part of this year’s festival with 12 in-depth discussion sessions on major concerns of Vietnam’s press.
